Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived to a musical family 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the cousin of daughter to the singing sensation Dionne. As a child she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. When she turned 15, Houston had sung professionally with backing vocals alongside her mother on Chaka Khan's song from 1978 Im Every Woman. The singer went on to sing back vocals to Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her own mother. She also did a brief stint as a model appearing on the cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. The year 1981 saw her begin working as a singer with New York's funk band Material. Her quality vocal performance in this band that attracted notice of major record label such as Arista. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut album for an artist in 1985. The album released several hit singles like Saving All My Love for You How Are You Going to Know If You Give Good Love and The Greatest Love of All. This resulted in her having seven US Top Ones consecutively. The singer beat the Beatles. The album was sold out of 3 million copies in its first album's first year of release in the US as well as make 25 million copies worldwide, earning her the first of her six Grammies. The album Whitney which came out in 1987, and featuring the popular singles Where Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, built upon her previous success. However it came with The Bodyguard (1996) that cemented her position as one of the best-selling albums in pop music. While the movie itself and the performance of her in it were not highly reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her version to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You was the top of charts for albums and singles for a period of time and sold over 44 million copies all over the globe. The same year, she married Bobby Brown who was a previous New Edition singer. She had their sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. They were married on March 23, 1993. In the same year the drug use was documented, and she was able to use it regularly by 1996.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she works for CNN as an anchorwoman, reporter, and political correspondent. She has also produced some of the network's weekend shows such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' She has worked for other renowned channels, such as NBC and CBS. Bash was awarded a Women in Washington Power List honor by Elle magazine. Her amazing anchoring and reporting skills are praised by many journalists. She is also a loving father to her son despite having graduated of George Washington University. She has been married twice and is currently single. Bash has a huge love for all of her fans.
